Join Food Shift for a celebration and fundraiser at Encuentro in Jack London Square. Guests will hear about Food Shift’s new catering program and be part of a conversation with activist Joanna Macy about the times we’re in and the impact of Food Shift’s work to reduce food waste. Take home small-batch food products like pickles and jams; bid on silent auction items, and try vegetarian dishes prepared by Food Shift’s chef Suzy Martinez and guest chefs Nora Haron, Denise Huynh, Tu David Phu, Lacey Sher, and Jeremy Nelson.
