Join Pollinate Farm & Garden for “Fruit-Filled Sundays,” a series of workshops they are holding this year to help gardeners plant and tend bare-root fruit trees. At the first of these events, you’ll learn the basics of a scion exchange and how to make the best of upcoming winter exchanges, including the Berkeley event on January 21. Fruit tree gurus John Valenzuela and John Heenan will discuss heirloom varieties and how to select the best trees for flavor and production in the Bay Area climate. Sliding scale registration: $10–20. Info: here
