For those seeking in-depth knowledge about soil ecology, Dr. Elaine Ingham offers her annual Compost Tea & Soil Food Web Intensive at GreenFriends Farm. Ingham is a renowned soil biologist who shares her know-how in this workshop for farmers, landscapers, ranchers, creators and distributors of agricultural products, waste management professionals, and soil and garden enthusiasts. Sign up for all or some of the five sessions; overnight accommodations are also available. Dr. Ingham has helped farmers worldwide to grow more resilient crops by understanding and improving their soil. She is the inspiration behind the impressive composting program at Frog Hollow Farm, the subject of a story in our Spring 2015 issue.
