Tasting room hours: Saturday & Sunday from 12noon – 5PM
Pre-feast quaff: The Improviser – It’s our Zindandel-based red blend and it’s the perfect everything wine. It’s a great sipper, but it also pairs with all kinds of fare: pizza, zesty pasta, and barbequed meats.
Best wine for a typical turkey dinner: Thanksgiving is an American Holiday, Zinfandel is America’s heritage grape: What a perfect marriage! Our 2014 Swingsville Zinfandel is bright and zesty, with flavors of blackberries, creamy cherries, pepper and spice and it pairs beautifully with turkey and all the trimmings!
Best wine for a holiday fish feast: Choose a crisp sauvignon blanc. Our 2014 Serenade in Blanc Sauvignon Blanc is lean and crisp with bright mineral and citrus tones.
Best wine for a plant-centric feast: Veggie dishes can be rich and filling, so choose a full-bodied chard. Our 2013 Sarabande Chardonnay is full-bodied but without the oak. It is lean and crisp with a delightful minerality.
Best wine to go with a spicy dessert: Port…it’s perfect. Our Fortissimo Dessert Wine is a classic ruby port-style wine.
Wild Card: We’re all over Cognac – Bache Gabrielson, Guillon-Painturaud, Kelt – we share a snifter most evenings.
