Oakland restaurant Nido is offering a special cocktail menu this month to raise funds for Latina immigrants.

Sip a cocktail in support of Latina immigrants at farm-to-table Mexican restaurant Nido. Together with Mujeres Unidas y Activas (MUA) Nido has launched a new cocktail menu for March in honor of Women’s History Month. Nido will donate $1 of each cocktail purchased to the grassroots organization MUA, which empowers Latinas through workforce development, counseling, domestic violence intervention, and other community-based services. The cocktails are named for influential Latinas, like author Isabel Allende and human-rights activist Dolores Huerta, and are crafted predominantly with tequila and mezcal, agave-based spirits grown and distilled in Mexico.
