Craft beer experts share their wisdom and skills with students at the Food Craft Institute.
Entrepreneurs looking to open a business can learn from the masters in this professional development course offered by Oakland’s Food Craft Institute (FCI). Develop the skills and knowledge to launch a craft beer business as you learn from top brewpub owners and micro-brewers about sourcing equipment and ingredients as well as managing finances and marketing. Visit area breweries and taprooms, practice hands-on skills, and learn first-hand from the owners and brewers about how they developed their unique products and businesses. Course participants join a growing network of students and alumni who share knowledge, resources, and contacts through FCI and the Eat Real Festival.
