Savor the Region’s Best Street Food

Frozen Kuhsterd keeps festival-goers cool at Eat Real. At right, Eric Szeto, founder of Shades of Sugar Bakeshop, shares a hug with Clover Sonoma mascot Clo the Cow.

Oakland’s Eat Real Fest offers a delicious variety of sweet and savory street foods in a big block-party atmosphere. Meet local and regional chefs, farmers, and food producers, and taste your fill. All street food items at the festival are priced at $10 or less and incorporate regionally sourced and sustainably-produced ingredients. Eat Real is the premier educational program of the Food Craft Institute, a nonprofit that helps to support and develop small-to-medium-scale artisan food companies. Free admission. Info: here
