Learn, Do, and Make 

Visitors will appreciate the many clever and useful projects on display
at the East Bay Mini Maker Faire.

 

From pufferfish swords to pendulum painting, you’ll enjoy the fascinating variety at this annual maker’s fair. It’s a family-friendly occasion with rockets and robots, DIY science and technology, urban farming and sustainability, alternative energy, hand-made crafts, music, and local food, along with educational workshops and installations. The event takes place on Park Day School’s four-acre campus behind Oakland Technical High School and at the adjacent Studio One Art Center, Oakland’s city-run program for studio arts instruction.
