Art has power, even when virtual as Emeryville’s annual arts exhibition is this year. Start with the live-streamed opening night celebration with a slide show of the 2020 Exhibition artwork, music by The doRiaN Mode: Vintage Jazz & Blues, and introductions by Mayor Christian Patz with the announcement of the City Purchase Award recipient.

The month-long exhibition continues with artist interviews, videos, art shop, downloadable art map, and  poetry workshop. Viewers can enjoy a curated selection of 170 pieces by 85 Emeryville artists, including paintings, sculpture, photographs, prints, ceramics, textiles, video, glass works, and literary arts. A favorite Emeryville event for more than 30 years, the exhibition has uncovered emerging talent and been an exciting  showcase for new work by established artists.
