Alameda Chefs Dazzle in New Online Cooking Series/Benefit

 

 

Join in as Alameda chefs serve up a fundraising series and virtual cooking experience to benefit Alameda Family Services. Take part in one or more interactive cooking demos as the chefs share some favorite seasonal dishes and techniques. Later, you can make the dishes at home with the help of the full recipes and how-to videos.

Cost: $100 per session or $250 for all three. All donations are tax deductible.

February 8: Baking with Chef Beth Woulfe of Crispian Bakery

Chef Beth offers up some of her baking secrets along with specialties customers may have enjoyed from her Crispian Bakery. Learn how to make some super-romantic Madeleines or Whoopie Pies and Diamant Cookies, which are fun and festive Valentine’s Day projects for kids.

March 8: International Women’s Day with Rudy Duran of C’era Una Volta

Chef Rudy demos some Italian specialties, including Filetto di Pesce Arrosto (roasted whole fish), Risotto allo Zafferano (saffron risotto with zucchini and shrimp), and Panna Cotta alla “Mi Moniera” (panna cotta done “my way”).

April 12: Mediterranean Flair with Saboor Zafari with Angelas Kitchen 

Join Chef Saboor as we learn how to make Angela’s signature Lime Chicken along with a cardamom rosewater panna and a side of sautéed asparagus with Afghan rice bowl.
