Join Karen and Malcolm Bond, owners of Bondolio Olive Farm near Winters, to celebrate the holiday season and the treasure of this harvest’s fresh olio nuovo (the fresh new olive oil). In addition to the prized and extremely limited 2021 Olio Nuovo, the Bondolio 2021 Extra Virgin Olive Oil and their Mandarin Orange Olive Oil will be available for tasting and purchase on December 12, 10am–4pm. Everyone is welcome, admission is free, and no reservations are necessary. All activities will be outside on the patio with ample room for safe distancing. (Other state and local COVID safety guidelines will be followed.)

In this olive grove setting, you’ll will feel transported to a Sicilian frantoio (olive mill) and marketplace. Mingle in the outdoor tasting room while you enjoy pizza fresh from the wood-burning oven, drizzled with the new oil. Artisan chutney maker Allison McQuade will be there with her line of McQuade’s Celtic Chutney. The pizza, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

The marketplace offers culinary gifts and confections from Italy along with cookbooks, artisan pantry staples, and gifts for the home, making for enjoyable holiday shopping and a most welcome respite during this holiday season. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Angel Flight West.
