Fried Pastries Workshop—Doughnuts & Churros—with Chef Maria Capdevielle: August 20
It’s hard to beat a good donut! This virtual hands-on class covers the tips and tricks you need to make ciambella (Italian doughnuts) and churros with chocolate sauce. Watch online as you cook along with Chef Maria from the comfort of your home kitchen.

Focaccia In-Person Baking Class with Chef Maria Capdevielle: August 27
At this fun in-person cooking experience at Kitchen on Fire in Berkeley, Italian pastry chef Maria Capdevielle coaches participants as they prepare and bake three different focaccia: potato & rosemary, pesto & artichoke, and apple walnut. At the end of the class, everyone gets to eat and enjoy.

South American Tapas Virtual Cooking Class with Chef Maria Capdevielle: September 17
Tapas (or small plates) are great for entertaining as well as for daily meals. The art of making them starts with pairing good quality seasonal ingredients and finishes with cooking techniques that enhance the natural flavors. You’ll make arepas with a variety of fillings (cheese, ham, etc.), pollo guisado (shredded chicken braised with onion, pepper, and cilantro), and churros.
