An Exhibit to Feast on at the UC Botanical Garden

Support programs for youth and families by attending the UC Botanical Garden’s Fall Harvest Dinner.
The annual Foods of the Americas Exhibition showcases an array of crops, from chocolate to quinoa, that originated in the Americas thousands of years ago. Come enjoy various special events associated with the exhibit: a family day featuring corn husk dolls, tastings, and crafts; a presentation on food biodiversity and forgotten crops; and a mezcal tasting of beverages made from agave species native to Mexico. The Fall Harvest Dinner fundraiser supports educational programs with food by Los Moles restaurant, cocktails from St. George Spirits, and live traditional Mexican music from TARIMBA. Funds raised go to field trips for low-income youth, low-cost workshops, outreach to schools, family programs, and more. Info and registration: here
