Irresistible Olives

Guided tastings and tours of the mill create a memorable experience at the Olive Crush Festival.

Mark the start of the olive harvest by watching the Séka Hills Olive Mill in action. Discover the exciting flavor of olio nuovo (early-harvest, unfiltered extra-virgin olive oil) as you are guided through tastings of olive oil, wine, honey, and nuts in the Séka Hills Tasting Room owned and run by Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation. The Olive Crush Festival features local food artisans and vendors, live music, and tours of the mill, orchard, farm, and ranch. Tribal Executive Chef Casey Willard demos cooking with olio nuovo and talks about its seasonal uses. This oil is bottled in limited amounts right after milling, and its fresh, bright, and bold flavor is best enjoyed within a few months. Free. Info: here
