Join City Slicker Farms at the West Oakland Farm Park for a family-friendly celebration of the organization’s 18-years-strong fight for food justice. Enjoy gardening demos and a Farm Park tour as you learn about the park’s garden program. Stop by the Alameda County Public Health Department wellness table. Entertainment by the Black Excellence Band and the OPC-SFJAZZ Academy Level 1 Ensemble, Oakland Public Conservatory of Music. Kids of all ages can enjoy story time, a petting zoo, All About a Farm, a pumpkin patch, raffle prizes, and more. Be sure to reserve ahead for the cooking demo with Ikeena of Keena’s Kitchen.
