A scion is a young shoot or twig of a plant, especially one cut for grafting or rooting. At the 32nd Annual Fruitwood Scion Exchange, you’ll find the best varieties for growing your own fruit. Discover local favorites and near-forgotten heirlooms as you peruse hundreds of varieties you might want to graft onto your own trees. Also available: cuttings to root, rootstocks and grafting supplies for sale, free grafting classes, and more.  Beginners welcome. Entry fee: $5.  Info: here
