About our cover artist:
Gina Dominguez has been creating mosaics for 15 years. “I like to think of mosaics as painting with glass and tile. It’s a very kind and forgiving art form, which makes it accessible to anyone, whether they have art experience or not.”
Originally inspired by the work of Antonio Gaudi during a year in Barcelona, Gina now creates mosaics for both home and public spaces.
At her retail store, Snapshot Mosaics, located at 6206 La Salle Avenue in Oakland, Gina sells a wide range of mosaic supplies, hosts parties, and offers classes and workshops.
