Il Fiorello Olive Oil Company invites the public to bring harvested olives to the mill on Community Milling Day. Watch the process take place and come back the following week for a share of the freshly milled oil. The milling rate is $0.75 per pound of olives. No minimum quantity is required, but olives must arrive at the mill between 8am and noon. Harvesting olives the day before is recommended for better oil.
If you don’t have olives, come anyway on October 25, 1–4pm for a complimentary milling tour and to taste fresh olive oil straight from the mill. This experience is available most days. Guided farm tours, available for a fee, are by appointment only and include a tour of the visitor’s center, garden, groves, mill, as well as oil tastings and food pairings. Info: here or 707.864.1529
