at this year’s Eat Real Festival.

Bring a good appetite to this high-energy street-food festival, where you’ll find a delicious variety of food and drink made from regionally sourced, sustainably produced ingredients. The popular annual event, now in its 8th year, features street food from regional food trucks and vendors, all priced at $8 or less. Look for an array of savory and sweet dishes from pizza, tamales, and Asian BBQ to sweet potato peach pie and frozen custard. Guests can also “Drink Real” with $10 tasting flights, sommelier demos, alcohol pairings, craft brews, and more. Local chef demos, tastings, cooking competitions, and DIY workshops add to the fun and learning. Proceeds from Eat Real support the nonprofit Food Craft Institute, which offers education and training in traditional food craft, entrepreneurship, and economic development for small business. Admission is free. Info: here
