Over at Berkeley’s Fournée Bakery, owner and pastry chef Frank Sally has been perfecting his heart-shaped Chocolate Babka just in time for Valentine’s Day. It’s made with a sweet, buttery dough, and Sally swirls Valrhona chocolate throughout, then adds a hazelnut streusel topping. The special miniature babka is a perfect Valentine’s brunch item or dessert for two to share.
