This live daylong broadcast begins as Chieftess Queen Quet of the GullahGeeche Nation gives a “drum call for justice and a stand for land,” says presenting organization, A Growing Culture. Following throughout the day is a series of presentations and dialogues featuring East New York Farms, Sylvanaqua Farms, Soul Fire Farms, and others. The Juneteenth Broadcast is also an invitation to the world—to corporations, foundations, donors, and allies—to see, hear, and support these voices.
