When urban sketcher Cathy Raingarden went out on the Brentwood beat with writer Cheryl Angelina Koehler last summer, she became fascinated with the curly Armenian cucumbers inside the old wooden barn that houses the Dwelley Family Farms retail shop. Later on at the Urban Edge Farm store, she snagged a jar of pickled carrot sticks made by local company Real Mojo Foods.

“We realized we were hungry, so we cracked open the carrots and found them so tasty that we ate up the entire jar and had to go back to the store for another,” says Koehler.
