About our Cover Artist
Photographer Rachel Stanich likes to think about the impact we all have on one another. A string of words, a gift with intention, an image to inspire or help us learn a little more about ourselves. Rachel describes her work as textual, curious, and imperfect. She’s influenced by people and how they relate to their environment or vice versa. Her friends would say that she’s like a mix between Carmen Sandiego and your favorite Seinfeld episode. There is beauty and always something authentically human happening at the same time. Rachel spends her time growing multiple varieties of corn and is beyond excited to attempt mini cantaloupe this season. You’ll also catch her swing dancing in Port Costa or at the Top of the Mark.
